Distractions are Good

Sometimes I need distractions from the joy of looking for a job. Rachel is the kind of friend who seems to be good at knowing when to jump in with a distraction. Today she came over to the flat with a couple of bags of card-making supplies and we had a great time making a mess and being creative.

Organized chaos.

I sort of cheated with my creativity, using a standard card with a floral pattern and using paper, cut-outs, and ribbon to embellish it.

My favourite card - so cute, if I do say so myself!
The polka-dot strip is ribbon and the red dots in the bottom, right corner are little jewels.
