A One-Way Flight
My flight is booked! I depart from London-Gatwick at 12:25 on Friday, August 28 and arrive in Vancouver at 14:40 on the same day. Changing time zones is odd.

I am living, working and travelling in the UK for up to two years, starting October 4, 2008, with the occasional venture into other parts of Europe. The primary goals are to see the incredible history in this part of the world, shoot way too many photos, enjoy the unexpected, and have my relationship with Christ deepened and strengthened through my experiences.

My favourite photography books are by Freeman Patterson because of the way he teaches the art of seeing.
Since I've had several people ask me about what I use for shooting photos, here's some info. I alternate between a pocket-size point-and-shoot (for convenience) and a pro-level DSLR.
Point-and-Shoot: Fujifilm Finepix F100fd (12 megapixels, 5X zoom)
DSLR: Canon 5D (12.8 megapixels, full-frame sensor) with a 28-200mm Canon lens.

I'm kinda sad for you that you're coming home. It seemed like so much fun you were/are having. Traveling is so great...too bad it's ending for you. But, as long as you're at peace with it, that's what matters! hope we'll get to see you sometime!
I have enjoyed reading about your adventures(and your great pictures too!), I only regret not discovering your blog sooner!
